The Little Blue Book is a 5 part series written by Earl Spangler. It's a compilation of adorable stories from his childhood.
Mr. Spangler was born on December, 12, 1922, a son of the late Abner and Beulah Spangler of Campbelltown. He graduated from Hershey Junior College and received a B.S. in business administration from Lebanon Valley College. He served during WWII in the U.S. Navy’s amphibious force in the South Pacific where he earned three battle stars and shared a commendation award with three shipmates for rescuing 21 sailors and marines swept overboard in a tumultuous sea.
After retirement, Earl authored five “The Little Blue Books,” memoirs of his childhood roots in Campbelltown. Due to copyright infringement, we are not able to post the books however we have a copy available in the office if you would like to view them.
