South Londonderry township has one member on the Palmyra Area Recreation and Parks Commission (PARPC) who is appointed by the Board of Supervisors. The commission is comprised of South Londonderry Township, North Londonderry Township, Palmyra Borough, and the Palmyra Area School District. Various activities for all ages are sponsored by the commission as well as many sport activities. The PARPC office is located at the Palmyra Borough Municipal Building, 325 S.
